FREE courses for Senior Citizens of Singapore

Hello, fellow Senior Citizens of Singapore,

I just found a gem, which is FREE & particularly suitable for us.

This FREE, INVALUABLE Gem is the Council for Third Age (3CA), which is set up in May 2007.

That was more than 2 years ago.

Somehow, I knew nothing about 3CA, till yseterday.

I believe that some of you too, do not know about 3CA; that is why I'm sharing about it here.

3CA funds many training programs for seniors. Since the programs are funded, the service providers for the training, would either charge nothing or charge a token sum.

The Singapore Scout Association (SSA) is one of such sevice providers.

A friend of mine, alerted & urged me to attend a training program conducted by the SSA.

The half day program, "Unit leader training induction course" was conducted at "EE Peng Liang Building" on Bishan Street 12. While we learned how to tap on our individual's experience/ expertise in a leadership role, we also had a lot of fun.

One fun activity was to play games. After which, one of the trainers (a lovely, sprite, young lady) pointed out to us, how the games may be used to build teams & bond families.

Besides receiving the free training program, we were also given a free "T' shirt, a scarf, a toggle, a file with notes, pen & writing pad. Tea/coffee (free flow), snacks & dinner were also provided.

Yes! Everything was FREE for us.
(But not for 3CA, who picked up the tab at $250 per head)

For registration & details of the next course, email: Mr. Caleb Cheah @ caleb.cheah@scout.org.sg or call him @ 62592858.
